The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo begins on Thursday 07 Dec. and The Cowboy Channel+ will be there for all of it. The 10-round event will go on from Dec. 7-16 in Las Vegas and will feature the top 15 contestants in everything from bull riding to steer wrestling. Contestants are seeking $10 million in prize money at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas.

The 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) air live on Thursday, Dec. 7-16 from the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas beginning nightly at 10 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT on The Cowboy Channel+. The world’s premier rodeo features the top 14 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding. So, you should not miss a single moment of the NFR action.

The Wrangler NFR is held every December at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas under the contract with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) that runs through 2024, the purse in 2018 is $10 million. Qualification is based on the PRCA World Standings.

About the Wrangler NFR
Standard rodeo events include bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping (headers and heelers), saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, WPRA barrel racing and bull riding. It’s an exciting sport that requires patience, bravery, and just a pinch of insanity to perform well in. The champion is determined by season earnings. Every contestant will perform once every day. At the end of every round, there are two champions for every event. The best cumulative time/score will ultimately win the event.

The Cowboy Channel Plus Subscription provides the opportunity to watch the Wrangler NFR and other championships throughout the year.
